Christmas is on its way, and Beijing's pollution is off the charts. What better time of year than to stay in and watch lots of DVDs? Since I was planning on doing that anyway (don't know about you), things are working out just fine.

We've got all sorts of interesting things this issue - a report on what Beijing would be like after a nuclear war (by scientists), fun stuff for kids, and an exclusive extract from the memoirs of one of Chairman Mao's closest employees!
