Down on the Dancefloor - Maggie's

by Solomon West

Tee hee! Ha ha! Maggie's is a bit naughty now isn't it? When Arabella said she wanted someone to review it, I snapped at the chance. I imagined my story... it could be quirky maybe, full of slightly rude puns and double entendres a ho ho! I just hope that all the other Beijing expat mags didn't have exactly the same hilarious idea and all do the same thing. Maggies has moved to its new location, taking many of its old regulars with it. The scenery hasn't changed much, there is still plenty to see and do. It is now at the Ritan Park south gate, near the Guomao. It is the perfect place to go after a nights drinking if you are still in the mood for more.

You'll never be lonely at Maggie's, as the slogan might have gone if they had hired me to write it. It also the perfect place to find a Mongolian speaking exchange partner for any of you astute linguists out there. Although this is not the place to bring your family (eh, fellahs??? eh?), it can still be the perfect ending to a night out, or equally a good place to go for refreshment earlier in the evening. ;) ;)
